EVENT TYPE: 501/RL Formal
WHAT: WLPL 2022 Lib-Con
WHERE: West Linn Public Library 1595 Burns St. West Linn OR 97068
DATE: Thursday, October 27th
TIME: Event: 5pm-7pm/In Costume: any time during the event
CAUSE: West Linn Public Library
PARKING: We have two lots - one near the main entrance and the other is down on Hood street (you'd drive past the library). It looks a bit like a dead end, but the turn to our lot is on your left. This lower lot has a straight shot to our "staging area" downstairs.
CHANGING AND STORAGE: We have a large office with a locking door and blinds for changing and storing gear. There is another locking office right next to it without blinds, but is also suitable for storing valuables. There is also a large work room that we can use to give you a space for breaks.
BLASTER POLICY: Blaster and lightsabers are fine.
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: Yes, children in costume are welcome to attend
OTHER DETAILS: As part of our second annual library Comic-con, we are hosting a Cosplay Takeover Night where patrons can show up in costume for pictures with our green screen, grab some prizes and hang out with other fans. It is an all-ages event, popular with teens and tweens.
