I bet the black lights would look really cool with all of the armor! ...and who wouldn't stand in line to go up against the Imperial Empire? :D

Good thought, but have you tried running in your armor? Man it would be a slaughter. I would lose twice, once cause I couldn't run and second cause of all the pinching.
-
OH I have thought about it. And am planning on doing at least once for the cool factor. i dont care if I loose in points, its the cool and wow factor. :)
-
If I lose at least I go down with a smile on my face!!

Well if I had that sweet gun of yours I would be smiling too!

We did a birthday party once at a lasertag place. It was...interesting.
Take your normal visibility and drop that down to zero
My lightsaber, however, was super bright in there.

I know of a lazertag place in beavorton I think, I think it would be cool to get a group of a few troopers to gear up across the street then walk in with helmets on and play a game or two. Anyone interested?
-
A pretty cool lazertag place (Ultrazone) is here in Milwaukie. Parents play free on Sundays. My only issue would be not just the visibility factor (which is pretty bad, as Kyle mentioned), but the sensor vests that you gotta wear. They don't fit very well over armor. Great thought though!
-
They would be heavy yes... but where is the sense of fun and adventure..
-
Lazerport is cheap on friday and saturday for its 3 games for $12 bucks. :D
-
Can't fit it over the TB tanker though
-
true, but I was thinking before.. just have a spotter hold on to the chest armor during the game.. :)
-
I'm in....somebodies gotta video this though!!!! :D :D :D
-
When is a good day? How about this weekend?
-
Maybe have to rethink this....without the chest piece on my shoulders and biceps would have to go too...might not look like the Imperial onslaught I had imagined in my mind....
There has got to be a way to do it though.....
-
I am talking about bikerscout armor. The normal TK's would have no problem with the chest pack...

One word "Paintball!!!!!!!!!!!"

If you want broken armor....
-
Not trying to convert us to the sandy-side are you?
-
Come join us with your TX armor.. ;) That would look cool :D
-
Sounds like Nick may be interested too....the other Nick. That makes 3. We should probably keep the team roster low..don't want to be crashing into each other too much....as for the other team....my kids would love it!!
-
Okay, sounds cool. We just need a date.. now. :)
-
Saturdays are best for me
-
Well what about tomorrow or next weekend?
-
May need a little more feedback from those who have tried this before.
I have been told:
:arrow:1.) Visibility is almost 0 looking through dark lenses in a darkened environment plus the helmet itself restricts the view.
(Don't want to be tripping over kids or worse bumping into things or people - could prove disasterous for the costume) :!:
:arrow:2.) Movement is restriced for the TKs. Going to end up with some colorful monkey bites on the arms and legs and possibly pieces falling off. :!:(Good test for the Starlight Parade though)
It sounded like a great idea at first .....anybody have any thoughts??? :?:
-
Nick if go and break your (expensive) armor by running around like a maniac in a darkened room full of obstacles (and running children) who's going to fix it for you?
-
Yeah Yeah ok ...so in theory it probably isn't a good idea .....but you have to admit running around with glowing armor and a blaster does sound appealing...Sorry guys for getting you all excited... There has to be a safer way to accomplish this kind of thing and have some fun... NO ROB, PAINTBALL IS NOT AN OPTION!!
