Title: signiture stamps
Post by: SpitFireScout on October 02, 2007, 11:59:43 PM
I noticed that signing papers takes a while and can lead to a bit of back up. What about making custom stamps (like rubber stamps or something) that we could jsut stamp papers or cards with? Do any of you know those address stamps (http://www.selfstamps.com/selfstampsimages/images/redaddresstamp_02.gif)
These would be perfect and you can get custom messages on it. So it would be simple enough to get TK designations on something like that.
Or make our own custom rubber stamps with an imperial ensignia on it an stuff. It would be pretty cool, and much faster an prettier than signing by hand.

I have one I made at work. We don't have the machine anymore that makes them though.

Yes, these have been made before and used with great success.
I'd suggest getting a small round one that could be clipped to your belt like a commlink for size reasons, but if you can carry a larger one, go for it! 8)

Cool, i was wondering if it had been done and if it was okay and if people liked using it and ]the people asking for signatures liked it as well. Sounds like it is a success then

How about a garrison stamp? I'd love to buy one so I can stamp envelopes/packages when I send off stuff in the mail.

Anyone up for the challenge of creating a rubber or self inking Cloud City Garrison stamp?

All you have to do is create a design and take it to a stamp place. This all seems vaguely familiar from just about a year ago, too....
