Hey there.

While I'm not a member (Yet), I'm always happy to meet other people interested in the same things as me (costuming, Star wars, and whatnot.)

I'll be down in Portland later this year if all goes well, for Kumori-Con, and am wondering if anyone from here is going.

Another "if-all-goes-well" is my membership.  I'm planning to have my Scout done by July 4, and if it is, I'll be bringing it to the convention.

I'd love to meet new people, so if anyone's interested, let me know.  :D

Beautiful country up there.  I spent some time at Richardson a few years back and I loved it... especialyl the light show...

Nice.  Lived in Juneau for 6 years.  Have/had family in Anchorage and Fairbanks.

I love Alaska.  I fought lots of fire up there.  I spent a lot of time out of Fairbanks with the jumer station there and Chena with the Chena Shots.  That Alaska Range is awesome and the interior fires where always the best:  thousands and thousands of Black Spruce on fire, ripping up and down the mountains.  Watching those from a helicopter was spectacular.

I'm looking forward to meeting you guys.  I'm not sure when (or even if) I'll be heading down, yet.  It'll be around August 30- September 1(days of the con), though.  I just have to make sure I can save the money and still finish my scout and be able to pay bills.

I'm sure you're all aware of that kind of thing :P
