Greetings all.  My name is Jake, and I was at the midnight movie tonight, and was very thrilled to see you all there! I thought it was so fun.  So much so (as my name implies) that I really should start making my own good tusken costume.  I have always been drawn to them for some odd reason, also they just seem to suit me.  I have looked into quite a bit of online research for making my dream come true! Hopefully sooner than later!

Awesome, welcome to the forum!  It was definitely a fun troop tonight, and so great watching ESB with a big crowd of enthusiastic fans.  One of the best theater experiences I've been a part of.

I have never seen it in the original theatre format.  First timer for me (sorry sorry!)  But as a avid fan, I am very thrilled.  but now it is time to start my raider outfit :P

The good news is we have a Tuskin here in Garrison and it would be cool to have another.. Great looking costume, and choice. Welcome to CCG.

Jake,

First welcome the forums. Second, per the above quote, that is one (of many) reason(s) why there are spotters at most events. As a spotter I have had to make sure that troopers were able to get around obstacles (stairs, kids, low walls, parents, etc.) that they were unable to see.

Oh, well that's great!  Wouldn't want to trip on some poor little kid hehe.  But the joy of making it yourself is that you can fit it to your needs.  Plus I have to wear glasses or I can't see ANYTHING

Spotters are fantastic!  Thanks to them, I was able to remain upright while climbing the steps to the stage at the Bagdad in the dark theater.   :oops:   That could've been a disaster.  :lol:

So I hear the godzilla kit for the tusken are pretty good.

Yes you do, or rather on myspace.  Never met in person.  Though I am sure you will soon, once I start my gear =)
