My name is Sinead, and we are in the process of moving to the Portland area from Idaho. I'm a Portland native but for the last decade have been in SE Idaho area waiting for my husband to find a job over there, well, the day has finally come!! He's been over there a few months and just waiting to sell our house and find something over there to move our family.

We have been involved with the Timberline garrison for 3 years now as Biker scout, Mustafar Padme, spotters and little jawas (we have 5 of them running around). We haven't become 501st members yet. I need to finish my biker boots, buy a new bucket (had a rubies but it got a little warped and is now a collector item lol ;) ) and few other things needs to be touched up.

I just bought my husband his first set of armor last week so he can stop wearing mine and we both can become members finally. He's going to be a TK, and hopefully be done by summer time. Dependent on when we finally move and get working on it.

Can't wait to meet everyone!

I have only met a few of the folks so far, as I am new to the actual building of a costume, but had a wonderful time meeting several at Portland Comic-Con last month, and yesterday met a couple more, one of which is tailoring my flight suit for me (Yay, as my sewing skills are a bit...weak) and everyone has been great to meet. I lived in Boise for a couple of years at end of 80s into 90s, but missed me some Eugene. Looking forward to meeting you at a event soon. Best of luck moving, always a stressful time.
