WHAT: 5k for the GPHS Band and Guard
WHERE: Grants Pass High School  830 NE 9th St, Grants Pass OR 97526 in Grants Pass
DATE: Saturday, November 12th
TIME: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
We would like in-costume time before and at the start of the race. If possible at the finish line as well depending on temperatures.
CAUSE:
Grants Pass High School Band Boosters
The band boosters raise funds to help our students with instruments, food, transportation, music education and scholarships. We have approximately 180 students this year participating.


PARKING: You can park in our PAC parking lot which is located at the corner of NE 8th street  and Dean street in grants pass . Misty will be meeting you and helping you get to your area..
CHANGING AND STORAGE: You will have one of the band rooms and will lock and be all yours
COSTUME REQUESTS: No specifications
BLASTER POLICY: Blaster and lightsabers are fine.
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: Yes, children in costume are welcome to attend
OTHER DETAILS:
We are hosting a 5k fun charity run to raise funds for our band program. There will also be a kids dash and possibly a pancake feed after the event.

Would anyone consider maybe 7:30-9:30 so we are there for kids dash and start of regular race? I am considering this for a journey down to Grass Pants depending on road conditions. Thoughts?

I heard the race coordinator didn't get much in the way of pre-registration for kids (just one, at the time I heard this), and so wasn't worried about having troopers there. So to the best of my understanding, we're just needed for the start of the regular race.

For myself, I'm shooting to be there and ready to go by about a quarter 'til 9:00 - unless I hear otherwise that it would be good for me to be ready sooner.
