Here is a good gig folks.  Crazy time but enough lead to get some time off if you can.  BIG DONATION for DCH!!  Any Takers.  Again, I probably won't make it due to geography!!

Oregon Washington Community Association Managers (OWCAM) is a non-profit trade organization for Community Managers and affiliate members that work with homeowner associations. An Expo event is organized each year for higher education and trade show networking. This year’s theme is “Star Managers” hence the Star Wars theme. We are donating $500 to your chosen charity (Doernbecher’s) for volunteers to participate in the opening ceremony (and maybe a few opportunities for pictures). We are expecting 250+ people to attend. The event is scheduled for Friday, January 19th, and we were hoping your volunteers could attend from approximately 7:30AM – 9:30/10:00AM. Volunteers can contact me directly at the number listed below or by email.  I understand that you are volunteers and are not for hire. I have been in contact with Jim Berning (son-in-law) with all the details as well. We are truly excited about the event and the possibility that some of your volunteers may be able to participate. OWCAM appreciates all you do for Doernbecher’s and we are excited to donate to such a worthy cause (especially close to my heart as our little granddaughter was very ill and had to be hospitalized there).

If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours truly

I don't know if it will happen, but she is working on an even larger donation.  This is my mother in-law so I have no problem taking the lead on this.  If anyone thinks this event will be a possibilty for them please sign up so I can get her to calm down.  She is freaking out thinking that none of us will show.  Thanks.

I believe that it will be somewheres downtown PDX.  I'm sure that she told me, but I probably wasn't listening .  I will get the specifics ASAP.
