WHAT: Star Wars Storytime
WHERE: The Book Nook - 200 NW 1st Ave Canby Oregon 97103
DATE: Saturday, May 4th
TIME: 10am-11am (Please note updated time)
CAUSE: TBD
PARKING: There is free street parking in front of the store and free parking lot across street.
CHANGING AND STORAGE: We have a large back office and storage that can be used for changing/storage.
COSTUME REQUESTS: Everyone is welcome.
BLASTER POLICY: All are allowed.
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: Yes, children in costume are welcome to attend
OTHER DETAILS: Story reading will begin at 10am, we have a back room that volunteers can rest and dress in until story time begins. We would like kids to wait until afterwards to take photos with volunteers. There is plenty of space to step aside/costume change/break.

ANYTHING ELSE:We have previously done an event with Simon Tatom who will also be attending this event. We are excited to share the fandom and experience the families of our community!

It looks like the event in the website says it starts at 10 and ends at 11. Do they want us to get there when it's over to take pictures with the kids? Or be there when story time is happening?

I just called the Book Nook to double check, and she did put the wrong time on the request. The event is 10-11am. I'm glad you caught that, Rebecca! They are really excited to have us there.

Okay, good to know! I'll be there at 10 then And I don’t think my Mirialan Jedi costume will be approved by the 4th, so I'll most likely be Aayla again. Yay for 3 hours of putting body paint on...lol

You could probably get away with the Mirialan. Didn't they let you wear it to another event? 3+ hours for makeup is a lot of time!

I already trooped once in my other costume last weekend. I can only do 3 troops in a non-approved costume and I signed up for 3 on Saturday.

 I did get feedback though on the small changes I needed to make with my Mirialan Jedi costume, and it was just makeup stuff. So, if I submit new photos tonight for the judge, there is a snall chance I'd get approved by the 4th.

If not, then I'll have to be Aayla, lol.
