Great news everyone! It seems that our participation at last year's Big Brothers Big Sisters' Picnic was a great success! We have another April event....
Dear 501st Legion,
This year is the 4th annual Roots and Wings event. Roots and Wings is an all day event held on April 18th at Lloyd Center Mall in Portland Oregon that sponsors information booths with over 50 of our local non-profit and social service agencies to promote healthy and safe interactions among family members and prevent abuse and neglect. We usually have performances ? often interactive events for kids and parents who want to participate, a parade, craft and educational tasks for kids to do. We are looking for family friendly entertainment and you guys were recommended to us. I was looking for a little more information about what is involved in your coming to an event.

The event is taking place in Lloyd center mall in Portland. We expect over 5,000 to pass through throughout the day. The event is from 11-4 but we can be completely flexible about times, you guys can come for part of it, work in shifts or stay all day. Whatever works best for you.
We're really excited about having you. Big Brothers Big Sisters has nothing but great things to say about your appearances.
