First I want start off by say I absolutely HATE Christian Bale. I think
he is a pompous dirt bag with no acting talent, or perhaps he only has the ability
to perform one character. The only reason why, I believe, That
"The Dark Knight" was such a hit is that, like the first Keaton Batman,
it had an excellent supporting cast. The only reason I went to see it is
I've always wanted to see the Terminator story line told from the future
aspect. Now with that being said lets talk "Terminator Salvation."
I'd give it a four out of five star rating.
A: It has several rookie mistakes that I wouldn't
expect from a big budget film. For example when Marcus Wright is walking through
the city, the first time he encounters a terminator, the blue screen background work
is TERRIBLE. Lens flair is another big one. What the heck? I don't want to be blinded by a film.
Somebody should slap the dodo out of the person who thought it was a good idea to
blind the viewers.... Also somebody should have worked a little harder on the
Arnold digital work. When he first comes onto the screen he looks cross eyed.
2: I thought the Marcus Wright terminator, but didn't know what he was, story line
was pretty cool. Although I think at the end of the film, where he tore the micro-
chip out of his head was pretty stupid. He should have just converted to bad guy.
D: The Terminators were pretty cool. I liked the mech thing, and the motor cycles.
Also the inclusion of Michael Ironside was awesome. He's a Sci-Fi giant in my book
and always plays the prick/hero so well.
I'll probably see it again to look for goodies gumdrops and Easter eggs.
