WHAT: 3rd Annual CureSearch for Children's Cancer walk
WHERE: Sellwood Riverfront Park (just south of Oaks Park)
DATE: Saturday, August 10
TIMES: Arrive by 7:30ish to be in costume from 8:00 a.m. until about 9:30 a.m.
CAUSE: CureSearch funds research for pediatric cancers. They give 95% of funds raised to the Children's Oncology Group who does the research for better treatments for childhood cancers. Both local children's hospitals are part of the COG and participates in the walk each year.
