Nice quiet little event. -- I think James and Rob brought enough family to cover all the spotting needs and more, but thanks for letting me tag along and hang out with the cool kids.
Brian did an amazing job helping the crowd and taking photos for them. Natural pro!
Boardwalk was crowded, but there were a lot of excited fans out there. We hit the roundabout, then down into the arcade, through the carousel mall and then loitered outside the Cotton Club. Two hours went by surprisingly fast.
My girlfriend and her parents shadow-crashed the troop.. (her folks live in seaside). I talked her mom getting her photo taken, but I think she was holding the DLT-19 all wrong.
Sigh!
I also tried to re-sell the missus on a sandy kit (see honey, that's what a sandtrooper looks like)... but got shot down harder that a certain planet obstructing the death star test-firing. "It needs to be clean and white." Can't get no love for the MEPD at my house. ;(
Got some pics taken, but still need to finish cleaning em up!
