09.10-11.16: Rose City ComicCon - Convention Center

Rose City ComicCon is coming up FAST!!    And, Star Wars Oregon is looking for a little help with supporting our costumers at Rose City ComicCon.  We have shifts available for the following roles:

-Photographer
-Photo Line Control

Please refer to the schedule in the link below.  The available spotter shifts are color coded GREEN.  If you are able to commit to 2 hours in a support role we can get you a discounted ticket to the event for the day you have volunteered.  The final price of the ticket is not yet known, but we will need to collect payment prior to the event.  You can find more specifics regarding the responsibilities of each role by looking at the "Role Descriptions" tab in the linked spreadsheet below.

Hi, everyone.  I thought that I would pass on some helpful information from our hardworking admin team!

-RCCC Role Specific Info:  Remember that on the schedule spreadsheet there are role descriptions (Photographer/Line Control) in the tabs.  Please read them prior to your shift, but if you have ANY questions feel free to ask the SWO member that is manning the booth.  I will also be around both days to help you.
-Pass Pickup:  If you are getting a RCCC pass, please watch this thread closely.  I will be posting pass pick up information when I have more information
-Suggested Attire/Official SWO RCCC Shirt:  Feel free to use this link to purchase our official RCCC shirt!!  https://shop.spreadshirt.com/starwarsoregon I think you will really like it!  But, if you prefer to not purchase the official SWO RCCC shirt, please wear a STAR WARS shirt.  Also, don't forget comfortable shoes!
-Avoid the Con Crud:  There will be lots of Purell at the booth for you to take advantage of.  Everyone's hand hygiene is not as good as yours!!  Also, you may want to consider taking some Airborne/Emergen-C to help avoid the post con colds/flus that can often happen.  Also, don't forget to eat and drink lots of water!
-Personal Storage:  The booth does not have tons of room to store everyone's personal effects.  But, there will be a small space to store small items, purse/small bags, for the duration of your shift.

It's going to be a FUN weekend!!  I'm looking forward to meeting you all.

We are now collecting payments for your discounted tickets. Please verify that you appear on the list below for the right type of ticket, and then submit your payment through PayPal (or by getting me a check - PM me for more on that if needed).

If I don't have your payment in my PayPal account or a check by 8am on Friday, September 9, you're not going to get a discounted pass from us. No exceptions.
If you can't PayPal me or get a check in my hands by then, find a buddy who can help you.
