I added some brown weathering, to the existing black, onto all of the armor (it's nearly impossible to see in the pictures).

Then I finally got over my fear and weathered the soft parts:
First I brewed some tea and used a spray bottle to spray down the areas I wanted to yellow on the pants, duster, and gloves.
Then I took a rag that was still moist from black weathering paint and I dipped into the brown paint. I then rubbed the brown/black mixture on the pouches, gloves, duster, and pants, in the areas I wanted to look soiled.

I'm happy with how it turned out. After all of this dries I'll be ready to submit my pictures.
