DATE: Saturday, April 9th
TIME: In Costume: 3-4pm
CAUSE: Make-a-wish - We had went to Disney World a few years ago and saw a Family with make-a-wish come through. Watching the face of this girl had me and my husband tearing up in line to see Winnie the Pooh. People hear about this foundation but seeing it in person seeing this sick kid and a day of pure joy was life changing.
PARKING: Street parking at our house
CHANGING AND STORAGE: We have 3 room pretty emptied out they are large bedrooms but the doors do not lock. They would be welcome to the master bedroom that has a bathroom attached that locks but not as much room.
COSTUME REQUESTS: Boba fett, Rey (my daughter is wearing a Rey dress) Chewbacca. Open to any
BLASTER POLICY: Blasters and lightsabers are fine.
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: Yes, children in costume are welcome to attend
OTHER DETAILS: My daughter is turning 2. When at Disney she became obsessed with light sabers and fighting her brothers. She is young and won’t really know what’s going on but my 2 boys are having the hardest time with our move and I have an 18 year old brother who is mentally disabled and obsessed with Star Wars (he is coming in a Jedi robe). Thought this would be the perfect event for the last days at our house.
ANYTHING ELSE: The kids are going to make their own pool noodle light sabers. Otherwise just some Star Wars nerds hanging out eating cake.
