WHAT: 09.06.24 and 09.07.24 - Medford Center Health Fair (Saturday) and Fighting the Good Fight(Saturday)
WHERE: Day 1) Plaza in front of Cinemark. Day 2) Rogue X in Medford
DATE: Friday, September 6th and Saturday, September 7th
TIME: 5 - 530 pm for Friday and for Saturday - the doors open at 4 pm and the fights start at 5 pm.
If someone could be there for the entire two events. The one on Friday will be much shorter; maybe an hour is all.
CAUSE: Spartan Boxing is a 501c3. We are hosting a boxing event in the plaza of Cinemark on Friday, Sept 6 (free) The following day we are hosting a larger boxing event indoors at Rogue X.
Spartan Boxing is a non-profit boxing gym that focuses on at-risk youth and their families. We not only do fighting sports but also offer free academic tutoring and mentoring programs.
PARKING: Day 1: Medford Plaza. Day 2: Rogue X. Parking is free for both days
CHANGING AND STORAGE: For Friday, the locker room will be available and we can store other items behind a locked administrator's door. We can do the same at Rogue X.
COSTUME REQUESTS: We will take whatever. But we should probably have at least one Storm Trooper
BLASTER POLICY: Blaster and lightsabers are fine.
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: Yes, children in costume are welcome to attend
OTHER DETAILS: We are holding intra-club boxing matches on a Friday and a larger inter-club event on that Saturday.
EVENT WEBSITE: Friday is free to the public. Saturday you have to pay.
