Wow. I just tried to access the Sith Lord Detachment website and found out that my university server has it blocked. Apparently anything with the word Sith in it contains malware... I checked with the TI department and they confirmed it. Sith, Vader, Maul, and other SW villain names are usually associated with malware and other viruses. So, when that name appears in a site description it is automatically blocked. Does anyone else have this problem or is my university just being overly paranoid?

No, worse... Christians!

Because GFU is a Christian university, lots of people try dropping packets into their stream to corrupt the systems. They give out laptops which are linked to the main servers. If the servers get a bug, it is passed to the laptops. They kind of have to be paranoid.

heh heh, Trekkies, although my dad got this big 'ol box set with some of the best older episodes (not the old old episodes, the good middle ones) Loved those as a kid, still do.
