Interest in this has generally been pretty low, but with the exponential growth we have recently enjoyed that may no longer be the case.

I'm sure others will pipe up here if they have interest!

A Challenge coin? Hmmmm I thought that was something usually reservered for conventions, and are there
enough event related get togethers to actually warrent one? I thought about getting one for the Aliens Legacy
group, but since there are absolutely no conventions here in the portland area that would appeal to that
particular costume I figured Nah. Its just something that would gather dust on the mantle.

A lot of the garrisons and even the detachments have their own coins...CCG will (I'm sure) have their own.

Since Challenge Coins really only appeal to drinkers, I'd rather see something more to the lines of a new T-Shirt or something.....

We just got a new t-shirt design not too long ago. Why would we need to revamp it? Coins aren't necessarily a "drinker's only" thing, it is a collectible. As in, there are a lot of people who will collect the various trinkets just for the sake of collecting them.

I agree with Bill..............I think that might be true in general, but even thought I am a drinker, I do not go out to bars.  I also collect challenge coins and have several, to include a 501st coin(thank you Jim).  I think they are just something nice have as well as something tangible to show membership in a particular group.  They need not necessarily involve alcohol.

I don't even know what a challenge coin is and I want one.  That's how cool I am.     But I agree, if it's a trinket with the CCG logo or something on it, it's cool and neat to have and would demonstrate the levels of geektitude that we have.

Drill a hole through one and it becomes a keychain dangly thing.
