most of this was on the other thread, with a few additions and updates;
we have 6 picnic tables (5 in the covered area), a bbq pit with a metal grill (David volunteered to grill), 2 fire pits, a kitchen/sink/clean up area, power
outlets, a drinking fountain and kids playground. there are some trails, and easy river access, some people swim there. i would encourage everyone to bring extra chairs. its a dog friendly park, ("legally" on leash), with huge open fields for frisbee, football and even hitting/driving golf balls
(it is pretty secluded and unused except for the river area, even though it is very close to town). and i am going to dig a new horseshoe pit, and set up a temp driving range.
. i will also post some markers to follow. i reserved it from 10:00 am-sunset (9:00ish).
i will also bring a couple footballs, frisbee, folding chairs, buckets, paper towels, dish soap, SOME briquettes, grilling tools and STORMTROOPER FLAG
in the following map, we are right in the clump of trees in the middle.
