Just a final plug for this event. Those who have made it to the last 2 know what I am talking about when I say it is one of the best troops to be involved in. Granted it is a PR troop only, but that may change in the future. The people go NUTS! and it is a much more comfortable troop with the wind cooling you down...and lets face it if you are a sand related character, what better locale for your promo shots? Everybody is welcome and if you get tired of trooping there is always the beach or bumper cars, right?

Yeah I remember last year when we were still in the parking lot and had barely even got our helmets on and got swarmed by 30 people. This would be a good troop for new comers or people thinking about joining, gives you a good idea at what your in for. Two years ago this was my first unofficial troop, was just a spotter but I was hooked!

This is a great troop and it looks like Mom and I will be heading over there the night before and either camping with the tent trailer, or staying at a motel.

Michael White is also planning to attend as Tusken Raider!

Just to clarify... the Kashyyyk Trooper is quite at home on the beach

and enjoy getting buried there as well!

Dave I know the people that own and operate Funland Arcade. I'm thinking maybe would could get them to help support our troop next year, maybe a back drop set up some where there. We could troop the streets for awhile and then have a set time we are there for group photos and maybe get them to advertise with some flyers.

Video from first seaside troop incase some people haven't seen it. Video doesn't really show how many people were really there, but it definitly attracted alot of attention. I think last year there were about triple the amount of people in town.

I'm open to be a filler Vader. Still working on my costume. It's the Rubies one...Better than no Vader though right? I did the Star light parade 2009, and helped spot at a few events.

I had a blast at this one - might be working on Saturday though - wont know for sure until thurs or friday - might be there might not. if not have a great time in the sand.

This troop started out as a "sand related character only" troop. (You know in their natural environment kind of thing), but quickly became an "any character is welcome" troop. It is mainly to generate a buzz for the CCG, 501st and Rebel Legion.

If anybody has any promo materials to hand out please bring them.
