12/5/2015: Salvation Army Bell Ringing
« on: November 11, 2015, 12:16:47 PM »
Date: Saturday, December 5th
Time: TBD, hoping for 11am-2pm as usual but waiting for confirmation
Location:  Downtown at Nordstrom's
Where to Meet/change:  Meet at the ODS Parking Garage on 3rd Street (5th Floor)

http://en.parkopedia.com/parking/garage/ods_tower/97204/portland/

It is between Alder and Morrison, so as you're driving south on 3rd (the only way you can go), the garage will be on your left almost directly after you pass the Alder intersection.  It's a steep ramp up just past the corner.  Once you're in, wind yourself up to the 5th floor, and park as close as you can to the Street Elevators (not the Office Elevators).  There is a sign denoting both. This is a quiet, warm sort of garage usually, so it's good for costume changing.  Plus there are no windows or outsiders floating around in there.
We will move to our corner as a group once everybody is ready.

Missy,

I can help spot.  But if the time shifts later I'm only available until about 3:00.

Great! I'll add you to the list. I'm pretty sure the time is set at this point. Thank you!!

When I spotted for this event in 2013, we were outside.

Delaney (10-yr old daughter) and I will be there.
If the stars align, and I am approved for 501st, Delaney will be wearing her Ewok costume and I will be in my new Biker Scout costume.

Missy,

What time do you think would be good to arrive at the ODS garage?

Thanks Daryl & Craig (and Mark and family) for coming out and spotting and taking pictures and bell ringing today. Things went really smoothly all in all and I think we had a productive fundraising despite the dreary weather. Bonus spotter points for stopping that car from turning into the police SUV. :)
