WHAT: Hillsboro Hops Star Wars Night
WHERE:  Ron Tonkin Field, Hillsboro
DATE:  Thursday June 30th
TIMES:  Game starts at 7:05 PM
PARKING:  I'll work with the city to create a parking voucher that you can distribute to your members for the day of the game.

This should be a really fun event and we would love to see you at the game!  Who's in??

For an event like this you will likely be roaming around with the troopers watching out for fallen parts & unseen obstacles (like stairs, small children, etc.), taking photos for fans, intervening in the event of an unruly fan, ensuring the troopers stick to whatever the assigned schedule is for the event, and watching out for the health/welfare of the costumed characters (heat stroke and other issues).  Most often the troopers will make their needs known and let you know what they need and when in doubt, just ask!  I have to work that night or I would be there to help too.  This should be a really fun event!

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up to make sure to plan to leave a little early to travel so this event.

There is road construction near the Stadium (NW Cornelius Pass Rd/NW Imbrie Dr) plus the roads get somewhat congested after 3pm in that area of Hillsboro (mainly due to commuters from the nearby Intel facility).

My daughter Phoebe will be there to help also (she bringing her camera) and My dad Bill will be there as well. He is a professional sports photographer so he'll have all his expensive camera equipment and be ready to take picture of all the SWO crowd.
